Just a quick post to let everyone know I am still around.
We've had school holidays in the West and for us they are always busy having Rick home (dear hubby) as well as the kids. We did some furniture shopping which I hate to admit took up four days.......four days!!!!!! you've seen one lounge suite and dining table and you've seen em all I reckon. Although partly my fault as they don't make what I wanted anymore. The best part (that is until the furniture arrives) was dropping into IKEA (a couple of times) for lunch.....lol, never had lunch there before, it was a highlight....get my drift!
I felt like a yo-yo...going from Joondalup to Osborne Park, back to Joondalup then Osborne Park...and then a repeat of said travel the next day....oh and the next....oh and the next....agggghhhhhhh. When one says to DH "lets look at Harvey Norman' because we are in Joondalup"....to be told "naahhhhh we'll look at Harvey Norman in Osborne Park "to then be told by the very nice salesman "oh no, we don't have those chairs to match that table at our store, but they do have them in Joondalup" I should have just strangled him then and there......but I know the thoughts will fade as I relax on the chaise with a good book.....hah like I have time for that, but the vision is there when the furniture does eventually arrive. Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts....lol
So whilst the school holidays were on there wasn't much creating happening, so nothing really to share. We have been working on new kits since the kids went back to school. Actually we've got three samples already made up but no kits packed....so hopefully by next week they will all be ready to share.
As for classes, we only have one this month on the 15th August at Made With Memories. Its a day class with supper (home baked) provided. I think there may be just a couple of spots left but best to check with the store.
The class is a street scape set into a big canvas. There are so many techniques packed into this class it is so much fun, we did teach it at another store awhile back and the girls all had such a ball and loved the end result.
Anyway I guess I best go do some ironing or some other household chores, we've had birthdays galore this past week, so other stuff got pushed aside.
Can you believe my baby turned 9 on Friday, Miss Lauren is now 9!!!!!! Can somebody slow the earth down a little.
Have a great weekend everyone, hugs to you.
