SIA
It's such a shame, but due to unforeseen circumstances I won't be at SIA next week. It is all very disappointing as I was so excited to be going. I was looking forward to teaching, being on the booth and having the chance to catch up with lots of old friends and to have made some new ones. Although I'm unsure if the classes will still go ahead, I'm hoping that those who were booked into my Delish classes will be accommodated in other ways. I recommend that you all visit the Delish booth as the new Bistro range is the best yet in my opinion and I am sure there will be plenty there to wet your appetites.
Last night I went to Julies house to drop off the Collections stuff I was bringing along in my case and (sorry Julie) she had 'stuff' everywhere, what a mess....but a very inspiring mess I should add. I've seen most of the samples and they are all stunning. My prediction is that everyone going near the booth will have their socks knocked off because it's all fan-tas-tic, such a credit to you Julie...you are just amazing. I know at Scraptivate we can't keep up with the Collections products, they literally run out the store. Here's another sneak peak of one of the other samples I did for Julie.
And another of the projects I did for Scrapmagie.
Plus there is another tutorial on the Scrapmagie site for my flying butterflies as seen below.
Whilst posting I thought I'd share another of my projects for the Masters. This one is my double layout. It's actually a free standing triptych page. It opens to reveal pictures from San Francisco and my journaling is about how I got to spend the day there and was a great experience it was.
First the outside.
There is so much detail on the front which doesn't show up very well in my photo but you get the picture....and and theres lots of Collections stuff on there too.
And then the inside which is really three pages.
Until next time, which I hope won't be too far away.
Take care
Max
